Students enrolled in the Diploma of Professional Practice (DPP) are required to complete 2 electives which provide students with opportunities to either:

  • Further prepare themselves for their work placement by taking courses that provide them with particular knowledge, skills and/or dispositions necessary to work effectively in their proposed Professional Practice (PP) settings (e.g. language/ indigenous/ legal/ cultural studies)
  • Increase their effectiveness during the Professional Practice.

Note: Students can apply to count up to 12 units of credit (UOC) from their primary undergraduate degree program towards the elective requirements of the DPP (i.e. 12 UOC of 48 UOCs required of DPP).
